Courses and Services Offered
This course teaches basic marksmanship fundamentals and firearm safety using a simulated pistol with a resetting trigger and laser to indicate where the shots hit. Students may attend this course as a basis to decide whether or not they would like to follow-up by taking the full-length Basic Pistol course with live fire, or to simply learn to improve their marksmanship skills.
At the completion of the course, an NRA participation certificate is awarded.
What sets me apart from other instructors is that I will incorporate a variety of training techniques that will allow my students to get more comfortable with firearms before actually taking that first shot at the Range. Some of the methods are: Use of Snap Caps to practice loading and unloading a magazines, loading and unloading a firearm. Proper Grip Management and Stance and use of the "LaserLyte" Cartridge and target system.

This is the hands on classroom portion of the Basics of Pistol Shooting course. The main focus will be Loading/Unloading, Grip, 5 fundamentals of Pistol Shooting, Range Safety. We will re-enforce everything you learned during Phase I. Phase II course fee is $130.00 and covers all training materials and the live fire qualification. Range Safety Officer Course - $150.00
The NRA Range Safety Officer program was developed in response to the demand for a nationally-recognized range safety officer certification. NRA Range Safety Officers are people who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.
This course does not encompass the functions and responsibilities of a Range Officer, who conducts NRA competitive shooting events as defined by Rule 11.5 of the NRA Rule Books.
NRA Range Safety Officers must be 21 years of age or older.
The Range Safety Officer course consists of: Range Safety Officer's roles and responsibilities, range standard operating procedures, range inspection and range rules, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and Range Safety Briefings which include emergency procedures. Candidates must also receive 90 percent or better on the written exam.
Utah CCW Permits
Utah Permits are good in 30+ states. You will leave the class with your application complete and ready to mail. This includes passport photos and fingerprinting.

$50 Deposit will hold a seat for you for the class. You will have everything you need to submit your Utah CCW permit application when you leave the class.
Seating is very limited please RSVP Early. Must have a minimum of three (3) students, less than 3 and we will reschedule to another date.

For those who already have their permit, but would like more instruction.
$75/hr covers private instruction. Range time and ammunition is not included.
$50/hr covers training session in the home without needing to go to the range.
